I have been getting a COVID vaccination about every 4 months because the protection diminishes significantly in that time. Being HIV+ for 40 years this December, I have no interest in taking a risk. I have had two cases of COVID but took the meds immediately and got rid of the infections in a few days. I don't understand why this approach was not included in the article rather than making it appear one has to choose which 4 months of the year they will have protection. Medicare has always paid.
